Can You Feel the Love
By Nancy Meek, (C) 2001

Can you feel the Love tonight
Growing, overwhelmingly real
Its power All-Consuming
In Divine Rapture feel

Oceans of Love come crashing
Washing over me from the rushing tide
Caressing my soul in a supernal sea
Where the two of us in love collide.

Warm salty seas trickle slowly
O'er my trembling limbs agape
Drowning me with your waves of Love
From where there is no escape

And looking for none, I tarry
'Til the endless seas subside
Basking in its gentle touch
Where our two spirits collide.

Waves of worries leave me
Rippling to distant shores
Forever lost in the Power of Love
Raising my soul to Celestial Doors

The sun turns the sea into diamonds
Sparkling in the heat of the day
Reminding me by how they shine
In time there'll be a brighter day

Touch me with the foam of Life's Ocean
Kiss me with Eternity's Song
For in my heart I somehow know
This moment is where I belong

I dream of Castles in the Air
Where Everlasting Love resides
Blessed Assurance, Eternal Endurance
As sure as the ebbing tides

The sun slowly passes across the sky
And I wait breathless for the night
Thrilled at the very thought of you
Gently pulling me toward the Light

I gasp for air as the tides rush in
Feeling your Power pushing through me
Filling me, Loving me, Lifting me
Wave after glorious wave in Ecstasy

I bare my innermost feelings to you
My heart wildly beating inside
Washed in the water, wet from dreams
Knowing from you I cannot hide

Our connection was made Enchantingly
As I'm drawn to the Supreme Divinity
Shared in shining eyes in Unity
Enthralled forever in its Intensity

Can you feel the Love tonight
Lost in a wondrous sea of emotion
Powerful Love coming bursting
Shooting stars across the ocean

I can see us together in the Hereafter
I want to live Forever! I do not want to die!
I want to feel you there, beside me
In that Castle in the Sky!

"Whither shall I go from thy spirit?
or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there.
If I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
If I take the wings of the morning,
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
Even there shall thy hand lead me,
and thy right hand shall hold me."

--Psalm 139: 7-10
